Definition

This category covers how higher courts might review an appeal of a previous court case. This might be called 'standards of review', that sets out whether courts might review an appeal on questions of law, questions of fact, or matters of discretion. This category covers reasons that a case might be accepted for appeal, and what the higher court will be evaluating on the appeal.
