Definition

This category concerns situations where a person feels that the government may be depriving them of their liberty (by arresting, jailing, or otherwise impeding their free choices and movement) without giving them 'due process' to defend themselves and to use the law. Deprivation of liberty could be stopping peopel from using their freedom to travel, freedom to live with and raise children, freedom from incarceration, or freedom to not be subjected to violence or medical treatments.
