Reasonable Accommodation for a disability defenses against an eviction
This category covers how a tenant may defend themselves against an eviction if there is an issue of 'reasonable accommodation', for when the tenant has engaged in behavior related to their disability. If the landlord is able to alter their policies and rules to accommodate the tenant's disability, they must make this accommodation. This could include accommodation of wheelchairs, service or support animals, time needed to get assistance or treatment, or other issues. This category covers how to ask for reasonable accommodation and use it as a defense in a court action.
